Stay home stay safe expired today. Still in phase one though so nothing is open yet. The outbreak at a fruit packaging plant has set us on hold till it's all sorted out. They are finding lots of cases in the farming community.
Now we have the protest and riots at night going on. Major riots across the river in Portland and Eugene in Oregon also north in Seattle

So how are the lungs feeling?

My wife is doing OK with the inhaler, or at least she's not complaining loudly . . . no fevers . . . eats like a (very small) horse.

Our county death toll here is now 0.0038% or 38 souls.
The county south of us has 4x the rate and it is far more rural, with lots and lots of uncounted migrants . . .ummm . . . migrating around. Maybe up to 1/4th of the population, who will also later dash up here to pick, prune, etc,

So we might have a wave unrelated to what happens elsewhere.
I think people have been too wary of infection to go out and protest.
Things have been very calm hereabouts.

We did lose Photon the Malawi. He was savaged by Buttercup in the patio tank.

Well being a 32 year smoker doesn't help. There is some congestion for the first hour or so in the mornings, otherwise the same.

Well since the off topic thread is now locked I will post this here I suppose...
Found a box turtle in my pool the other day.

as you can see he shat in the pool.

He was indeed cute, I’m just happy that he stayed on the steps and didn’t go off them and drown and that I went to the pool that morning as I haven’t went to the pool in months before that day.

He is very lucky!

We have had some restrictions dropped today, lots more places allowed to open such as restaurants but with limited customer numbers. Everyone is till being told to work from home where possible so not a huge change but a bit more options if you want to do something.
I will wait a few weeks and see what happens before I get carried away, I still predict a second wave as we head into winter here.
