So what if someone got shingles after getting a vaccine - any vaccine.
Millions most likely also came down with a cold, the flu, pink eye, a urinary tract infection, an STD, and a multitude of other ailments, AFTER they got a vaccine for covid. And that proves what exactly? That people get sick, even when they have received a vaccine (or not?)
Wow, more newsworthy stuff!
Shingles are typically believed by many to be associated with stress, and a lowered immunity. It's a rather common ailment, especially in older adults. I had shingles several years ago when I was going through some other health issues, and at that time a lot of stress at work. I have never had a shingles vaccine, and it has never returned - not even after 2 covid vaccines. Imagine that!
Shingles - Symptoms and causes - Mayo Clinic
"Shingles is caused by the varicella-zoster virus — the same virus that causes chickenpox. Anyone who's had chickenpox may develop shingles. After you recover from chickenpox, the virus enters your nervous system and lies dormant for years.
Eventually, it may reactivate and travel along nerve pathways to your skin — producing shingles. But, not everyone who's had chickenpox will develop shingles.
The reason for shingles is unclear. But it may be due to lowered immunity to infections as you grow older. Shingles is more common in older adults and in people who have weakened immune systems."
