How Long Have You Been Fishkeeping...

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Ive been keeping RBPs for about 2 months now. I just upgraded from a 55 gallon tank to a 90 gallon tank, i have 9 RBPs so thats 10 gallons per fish. I have a Fluval FX5 and i was wondering about pretty much everything, feeding, filtration, heating, do i need a pump for more oxygen? Anyway pls msg me if you have any info that you think might be helpfull, thanks.......

My older brother go tme started back around 1974 when I was around 11 or 12. Been at it ever since. I don't think anyone can ever learn all they need to know about this hobby, there's always something.

This is very true... the species list of newly discovered fish keeps growing.. and modern technology combined with what we already know changes... yes there will always be something new..

I have been off on on for 15 years. But been on strong for about 5 years now. I will never be an expert at this but I know what I need to know. Learn something new everyday with this sight. My wife thinks i have an addiction to this hobby. My passion is SA/CA cichlids. Been very successful with a few species, especially the guapotes almost all the Parachromis species.

I have been a fish-keeper since I was about 5 year old with my dad. First few fishs was just regular guppy we caught in the river and lake. I am 29 now and still enjoy this hobby very much!

Some addictions are good for you....we all are addicted here... so your in the right place for fullfilling your needs..:D:D:D

My first tank had a slate bottom and a metal frame. It was a present for my 8th birthday in 1968. I'm a second generation fishkeeper.

keeping fishes since 9 years but only learnt how to keep them alive from the past 3 years or so. so basically i have had many fishes die on me
i think we all went through it.. we kept trying.. but now things are great because we can share our faults and dissapointments and perfections with each other... horray for MFK
