Why not just get a regular Gar? Why is it special if it is rare? Is this to please you or others? Just saying, fish keeping is what makes you happy not impressing others with fish to gain admiration. Not saying you are doing this but alot of people on MFK do this.

I was in a Saltwater Fish tank store in my area that I had found about on the internet and got to vist it and it was really cool. They had a saltwater Lion Fish for $200 bucks and it was only about four to six inches long that was sold and they also had other $50 to $1000 fish there and I would personally be a scard of keeping a fish that cost that much in that it would be worth more then a $300 and most a lot of these fish themselves are likely 20 times worth more then my fish tank set up right now.
