that stuff looks alot finer than play sand.I dont think Ive seen it in our stores here.

It's just regular old play sand I bought from Lowe's but like I said, I sift it first. I just take a window screen and a bucket, dump the sand on the screen and the nice fine stuff falls through into the bucket. I also add a small amount of peat to the mix so it doesn't get too dry.

thanks you guys for stayin light hearted.Sorry Ive gotten so heated the last day or so,my girl and I may be callin it quits and were just torn.Ive been feeling a bit agro lately and sick of just about everything. So yeah, nuts maybe but no lsd, lol.Few to many Patrons last night though so maybe it still lingers.Peace out.

I like to use large tiles as the main floor, and paper towel in the corner that they defecate in. I wouldn't keep hatchlings or even juvies on sand. But if you feed mealworms and not crickets, it would be an acceptable risk for adults imo. My leos seem to enjoy digging as well.

ok maybe a little lsd.But I felt like I owed you guys more and VFs lady needed a makeover.leo 1.GIF

Yeah mine love to at least. I have lots of rock work in their enclosures and when I add new sand it sometimes fills in some of the caves. They have to dig some of the sand out if they want to fit back inside. It's a nice activity to pass the time I guess. :D

Thanks! That female I hatched from my other pair of leos and I didn't allow her on sand until she was around 9 months old. I believe that you shouldn't allow them to be on sand until they start slowing down in growth which is usually around 6 inches in length.

yeah so for now when i get my leo from my friend i will keep the leo on papertowels.
so hold old is ur leo and how big is she
