Then go ahead and do so. Maybe youll get more experience from doing that? :)
I think you are just showing more of your ignorance and actually trolling this thread.

LOL!!!

Physically yes...they look fine. Physically anything can look healthy and "fine" but the setup these guys are in is so far removed from their natural environment I wonder if they are mentally fine. They evolved in places like the Amazon and giant lakes, they are not made for this. There is a point where things just go to far. Like you said however, there is no point debateing this. I have made my point and if you guys like the setup thats fine, I don't....obviously.

think of it this way, it's better than living in a tank at the Chinatown fish market.

imagine those fish farms where they crowd tens of thousands of fish in holding ponds and they still have proper growth and even breed.

you keep commenting on how those fish are tortured or stunted or traumatized but there's no physical proof/evidence of it (and until the day when fish starts to talk, we will never know if they have any substantial mental damage; which I doubt).

If you think about it, putting a fish in a box with stagnant water is the least ideal environment for a fish. If you really advocate the best for your fish, i should say leave your trouts and other fishes in the lake and rivers where they really belong. Otherwise, putting them in tanks and then preaching out saying that this method of keeping fish is cruel etc.. is really hypocritical.

Mental state of the fish ? Where do you get this?? If a fish is stressed out, there will be physical manifestations of it right away. I really dont understand that part.

yes, is a very impressive display of one particular fishkeeper's abilities....but, what of the question of even if one can do something is it ALWAYS prudent to go ahead and do it...???
also, has anyone here considered that continuing to heap all manner of praise besides simple compliments only encourages others to strive for "crazier" setups of sorts...??
and, as food for thought... how many of you would heap all manner of praise on a fellow of this sort if a picture was posted of him "housing" all 9 of his children (this is all hypothetical, remember...!) in a 6x6 "bedroom"...??? hey, if they all were "fat/happy" is ok...??? hmmmmm.....

not trying to piss any of you off... just trying to get some thinking going on...!!!

Aw man, at least make that fish fit in the tank. LOL!

Alright enough of this nonsense.

Sandtiger like I said earlier. I don't want this thread to turn into a debate. You said your 2 cents so just leave the thread alone instead of trolling in it.

All I can say is that..one man's meat is another man's poison...one thing suits ur appetite is puke to another...there is no definite right or wrong in such things...this person likes to see his monster fishes packed..and he got the $$$ to do so....then we can respect him for doing that....

there might be agenda of cruelty in this context..but if the fishes are all eating...swiming fine with brilliant colors....we really wont know if the fish is happy or sad..but from the look of the fishes..they seem to be in brilliant condition...

Just let us all be neutral and just take this as a leaning thread that someone is actually keeping fishes like this...

so..all be happy?
