the reason he thinks its asthma, is cause i tool the breath test and shot a 460. normal range for my age is upwards of 600. and thats another reason i need a chest xray.

Like I said, that is probably because you smoke. You will only get a true lung capacity test when you have stopped smoking for a few months. If you start stopping and get regular monthly/two monthly tests at your asthma clinic (if you have those in the States) you will see your test results rise.
Smoking can make those tests look like you have asthma when in fact you just need to stop the cancer sticks and start jogging.

Oh, post #38 you said the inhaler made breathing easier, that is what they are for and yes it is normal for the effect to take hold so quick.

LBF, remember to ask your doctor about any concerns you have about asthma, your breathing, heart, effects on your heart, etc; rather than a fish forum. The doctor won't think you are stupid or crazy, he/she probably gets asked the same question a hundred times a week.

well hoping to find out next week what the xray will say about my chest! getting it done this friday, so next week at the earlest well find out what the xray says. ill report back here then!

The xrays will let you know what's going on, but it's not going to fix the problem. You need to take care of the cause of your problem as well. Saying your moving out, your not going to be smoking and all that is just words. If you want to get better then you've got to actually do it.
1 stop smoking
2 stay away from second hand smoke as much as you can
3 don't go to bars and places where you are going to smoke
4 if you smoke when drinking then don't do it
5 start going for short walks, build up to longer ones
6 FOLLOW DRs INSTRUCTIONS

if you choose to not do what you should, then it's on you, no whinning, crying or complaining.
