my 20L and 29 growouts both have 110's on them

That's awesome however tcarswell suggested that 300 gph would probably stress yellow labs too much so I think 500 gph from a 110 is just a tad much...lol

true but put a sponge prefilter and a bunch of rockwork and i wouldn't worry. the african rift lakes are very rough and turbid waters from what i've read. knock it down to a 70 if you're worried

honestly put the biggest filter you can. i have tiny endli (amongst many others) in the 29 and the current is nothing...

Do you have the 110s running at max capacity? or did you lower the flow on them?

full power. the 20L has a sponge prefilter though. it's the first growout....
