He sure is comfortable from anything of what I can see.
One thing that jumped out is that he is not chasing the small fish much anymore. He swims around sure, waits in a corner, but just as easy, he starts swimming again and knows he's getting his food anyway.
Feeders I put in 2 weeks ago, are still mostly there.
Thinking of putting in some 4 inch Tilapia, they might be more attractive to hunt, but they are extremely fast moving fish, so they should have a fair chance and at the same time, they'd help tremendously in eating left over food.
It's one disadvantage of the pellets, Mr.T. chews on them and spills quite a lot in the process. So water gets a lot of food rubbish in it. The feeders are ok for that, but I guess I need more fast growing and eating fish, for which the Tilapia would be ideal.
If they get big enough, they can always go on the barbeque...lol.
Once that's in, I have a tank free at home to get an RTC big enough to put him in.
Not sure yet on the Climbing perches I got..maybe wait with those until the final pond is ready and I have places for them to hide in.
Can't wait indeed to close this thread and get onto the DIY/Pond building thread with updates.
Painting is finished, so there's only time and manpower that's in short supply right now.
Cheers,
