yes they are all different and also once again it has alot to do with who they grow up with{although they can suddenly change} and also the size of the tank.. i grew my baby RDS up with the african cichlids and they were happy }all of them too} but i took them out because they out grew everyone else and the tank was only a 75gal. Bottom line is they are all different but some can be calm and not really agressive but that is definatly not the norm.
