pet barn, someone brought him in like that, i think it was in a small tank as the oscar clearly was kept in a small tank, he seems so much happier in the 125 gallon tank.

well thats what we all thought here, but its mouth is so much smaller than a channel cats mouth.

if it was a gulper, it would have been the best $5 i've ever spent!

I'm pretty sure it's a Channel, but here is a pic of mine for comparison.

yea pet barn has fish, your channel has a higher dorsal fin than mine, and im leaning towards channel, but still has some differences that i don't recognize in channel cats i catch back east.

It's a channel ccat. My dad just bought two small one for $5 each.

i got this 13" pig for 5 and a quater. i think it has more character since it uses its body to swim instead of using its tail.

Actually it seems to be a nipped fin that has healed, which would explain the lower dorsal fin.
