well johnny He could of been a fighting fish. You know that people that fighting animals, For example, a fighting cock, They take the bird and use scirrows to cut off the comb of the bird so that the other bird cant grab a-hold and rapidly hit them, I could be a fighting fish thing. I have a fighting cocks i've rescured from the humane scocitey that were fighting birds.

im lost in that....channel catfish aint excatly fighting type except for fishing purposes. Im sure big fish did that to this catfish when the catfish was younger, not cut by a person.dawsonkid;3775592; said:

pd, i know people fight animals, fish aren't fighting type unless you plan to fight dovii or betas, he was attacked by another fish. that fish is unknown, and no, you can't get the oscar at the pet barn. this channel cat is very mild tempered, hides and relaxes all day and when the lights go out, he gets more active then my oscar, i turn out the lights when i feed the fish that way he comes out at investigates, he still hasn't eaten, but he has sucked the shrimp in, chewed on it a little bit, and then spits it out. i hope by tomorrow he will actually eat it.
definatly a channel used to keep em and moved and my big tank got stollen so all i have for channels now is a juvi albino. try feeding worms and pellets your oscars will love worms as well good luck
thanks guys, he's designated my little big log cave, and when the lights go out, he comes alive!! lol still hasen't eaten, and i have been working with the shrimp, and he's gotten as far as sucking it in and chewing on it, then spitting it out. so imma keep at it.
