it would be important to consider other things that might be required for such a large tank
building that its in
various laboratories
different kinds of staff
filter rooms
lighting department
maintenance departments
science departments
suppliers
supply department
chemical department
permits
aquatic professionals of various kinds
some kind of water conditioning department
scuba diving department
a entire fish food department
some sort of cleaning department
aquarium heating department
janitorial department
building maintenance department
financial department
electrical department
promotional advertising
corporate considerations
sponsors

also im curious what kind of exhibit could be built other than a standard "square" aquarium

Here it the tank I had excavated in my backyard. The excavation cost $10,000. It is 1,267,200 gallons. I stocked it with ghost shrimp, scuds and gambusia mosquitofish at first. Then a couple of years later I added channel catfish and bluegill. Birds added large mouth bass and bowfin. I have not caught bowfin in years though. It is a fishing pond, but I am wanting to stock it with various types of natives. I will catch and release sailfin mollies soon. I consider this my personal inground aquarium. I just expanded the shoreline dock and installed an underwater light a couple of weeks ago. I will be making a fish feeder this week. All the parts have come in.
I am ordering 100 albino catfish today. I will raise them over the winter in a 275 gallon tote and release in the Spring along with 1,000 tilapia. I am building a house right on the pond. eventually I will mount an underwater camera by the feeder and wire it to an input on our big screen TV in the living room. All in due time. Life long project.
