INCREASING LUMP ON HEAD

i see that there are Flowerhorns with massive heads, in nature. In youtube also, you can see an Indonesian Flowerhorn,that has a massive Lump on the Head.
are there any means for increasing the size of the Lump on the Head....also, how do you increase the Red colour of a Red Dragon Flowerhorn??

Mirror will stimulate aggression and can improve the growth of the nuchal hump. It can be used for up to 1 hour a day beside a fishes tank. Any more can stress your fish and will cause more harm than good.

Are you meaning, we keep a proper dressing mirror next to the tank for approx. one hour,,,,,, for its nuchal hump to grow with its own aggression????

If you mean there are FH's in nature you are wrong. They are a man made hybrid. If that's not what you meant then ignore this post.

Yes, many folks just hang a small mirror down the side of the tank (for about an hour a day). If all you have is a large dressing mirror, then I see no reason why you should not use that, right up next to the tank, instead.

However much you are tempted to, don't overdo it. An hour a day is great. Too much, and the fish will get too stressed and its hump may well SHRINK !
