I think I am going to change my vote to female too. Its very colorful for a female though but then again I see that it is kinda blurry on the top of the fish. Also, the fins are not flowing like a male but it looks young. Some current pics would be nice.

Anyone that's saying this is a true Green Terror doesn't know what they're talking about. As already pointed out by myself and others, it's an Aequidens sp. 'Gold Saum'
Can anyone Id this fish for me, I know its an Aequidens of some type - I know its very very unlikely its a true GT.
Also can anyone have a bash at sexing it for me as I aint got a clue!
There's a big problem wtih this fish. I've had this fish for approx 5 months and it doesn't seem to have grown at all, its still the 2" that it was from the LFS. This fish eats, I've seen it eat and am 100% sure that its getting enough! It aint getting bullied in fact it can be a little b**tard!
I've done a bit of reserach and found that female Aqquidens stop growing when they first spawn - is this true and could it be the reason for my little runt? It's never spawned in my tank but I don't know what happened to it prior.

Food TetraDoromin Sticks (staple food daily) plus frequent Frozen Supplements
Tank 100 gallon (uk) (450l)
Nitrate avg 12ppm (thanks to a Rainbow Fluidised Filter and a Fluval FX5)
PH 7.5
Temp. 28 c
30% Weekly Water Change

I would say gold saum. As for the growth, these are one of the slowest growing fish I have ever kept. However, at that small a size, you should be putting on about 1/4 to 1/2 inch a month until they are about 5 inches.
I would suggest trying a different food. For a fish that size, try some NLS, or the HBH Super Soft with Krill food. That should help with growth.
