Two months ago, one of my two Trichogaster trichopterus died. He was often bullied by the other one and became increasingly reclusive in the week before his death. He became more and more inactive and mostly lay hidden at the bottom. Now my other gourami is alone and has no one to bully. So he immediately became calmer. But now I notice that he is very inactive and spends more time at the bottom than at the top, which used to be the other way around. And somehow he is completely different. For example, when the light is off, he swims at a strange angle. I'm afraid that it's not just loneliness/natural behavior, but that he is sick and will soon die. Several fish have died in the past, all as described above. Always at intervals and without external signs or poor water values. I'm really desperate now because I don't even know what it is, let alone how to cure it. Does anyone have any idea what the problem is and what's wrong with my gourami?
