Is my water the cause for all my problems?

Ya it's cheaper to run a warm water drip than heaters. I'm more crowded than you and run up to 200 gallons a day so you should be good now that your pond is flushed. I think just time now and keep it dark. Good luck

i would dial back the drip to 200 to 250 gal per day and leave it JMO

Pretty sure we got new water mains this summer when they redid the road in front of the house but that was early summer. No work done inside the house.
Guess ill do the same as I did with the pups. I've done all I can do. The water should be plenty good. Ponds covered lights out. Time to walk away and hope for the best.
Friggin Marbles. Never have had any problems ever with the Jag or "Mantilla". If the water was really the problem don't you think it would affect the Characins long before the rays? Rhaphiodon is doing great, appetite hasn't changed. The 6 Dorado are the same typical crazed swimming eating machines they always are.
None of the fish's habits have changed at all.

Man i had the same problems with my marbles about 8-9 months ago. Had 9 mm in with a leo and 2 reg. motoros. All went through 5 weeks of qt and eating crawlers and shrimp fine. one day 2 if the mm stopped eating and lost appitie. within 2 days all the mm started breathing super heavy and stopped eating. leo and reg motoro still ate. up till that pointy i was doing 50% wc twice a day. within 3 days i lost 9 marbles. Till this day i dont know what the helll happened. I was feeding alot of crawlers and the 3 canister filters i had runnung were real dirty i guess. some people told me that cause of the filters the rays got a fungus or something. but no visible signs of anything external. Just the same mo. breathing heavy, stopped eating, and dead. Ive heard alot of people losing random mm the same way. healthy one day, dead the next. I just lost a nice pair of mm bout a month ago out of no where. mm curse i guess. im swithching to pearls. good luck bud
