im not saying it SHOULD happen,neither am i saying it should not happen.
i just think that people are too over-reliant on medicine and all that.
The issue that has been raised is the passing on of defective genes, you may be well and healthy and your kid may come out sick/ deformed/ defective whatever your view of it may be. The gene that caused this, if it is not some new mutation, is a recessive trait that was carried by you and your female counterpart, and when the two of you got it on those recessive traits were (not always but can) be passed on so....... along this line of thinking it was your's and the mother's fault. The gene is still recessive and your "defective" child has the same chance of paring up with someone else with this recessive gene that you and your counterpart did. Yet you and your counterpart were still born healthy and still could produce other healthy but you still carry defective recessive traits.
