Yea I posted this just to show how some people don’t understand the needs of fish I love them too but I don’t have any say in it she did buy that tank with her money along with the fish

I know I had a young redtail catfish once choke and die because it tried to eat a Cory. R.I.P Rose here’s some pictures of herJust my 0.02 ,you'll be fine if you remove the fish that'll outgrow the tank anyway (common pleco,rope fish)Just keep up with water changes (atleast once a week))at one point I had 22 angels in a 75galthough did have to do 60% Wc every 4 days. The Black skirt tetras I had nipped at my angels leaving their long flowing fins tattered the .I have no idea about the barbs.I would keep a few angels ,a small school of tetras and a few corys.Keep in mind that if your rope fish decides to swallow a cory the spikes on it's pectoral fins will lead to the ropefish chocking.GL

All I can advise is to point out that some of these fish get bigger than the tank itself. Plecos and rope get longer than the tank is wide. Not a fun time...

Even if it isn’t best for the fish, at the end of the day, what your parents say goes.
I know, the rope fish I convinced her to buy for me and put in her tank as a temporary holding and since then she’s gotten barbs and it’s just a mess
Exactly, it’s the same with chickens we have she always complains about the rooster being too aggressive and always harassing the hens but she refuses to do anything about it
Yea, after I get the 75 (will be with the next couple months) I’m going to put the rope fish in the 40 until he’s big enough for the 75
