Is this pond going to be understocked with relatively small fish/few big fish and lots of plants?
The reason I ask is because there seems to be a water shortage in the western US states these days, so you might have to do something along the lines of this (https://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/threads/rain-water-water-changes.749896/#post-8448059) for fish not to die from lack of water replacements.
