your a ..... well i prolly shuldent say it so i wont get in trouble with mfk but you need to be baned from MFK no..thats to easy you shuldent be allowed to keep fish
well that's certainly the right attitude isn't it? let's ban him so he can't ask any more questions and make more fish suffer, cost him money on unwise purchases and make fishkeeping more and more of a nightmare for him.
I think the point has been made. He has made some mistakes but he's here asking questions...that's the first step. No he hasn't followed the advise he's been given completely but he did say he's working on getting rid of the monster fish that he has in his 55 so that's yet another step.
It's easy for some people to be more and more judgemental of people who are just starting in the hobby and making mistakes but remember, we were all there at one time. Maybe we asked for help and were more receptive, but how many of us, honestly, was just as skeptical in the beginning when people were telling them how much space some of these fish need?
I'll be the first one to say that I did the same thing. I went to a pet store and asked how many jack dempseys I could keep in a 55. When they told me only a pair I thought they were crazy so I went down the road to petsmart and bought all the fish I wanted and they were happy to sell them to me. And the majority of those fish died and that's what it took for me to start doing the research and start stocking my tanks correctly. If I told you the stock I had in my 75 gallon for a while I'd be getting a lot of

's myself.
Cut the guy some slack...he's here, he's asking questions and he's slowly doing the right thing. Let's keep helping him so that he too can become an experienced cichlid-o-phile like the rest of us.
