JD all the way..I've had O's but JD's are one of my fav.For those who keep JD's in a 55gal,ur JD will never grow to full size.There backs will get arched.MY JD is almost 11in's.

O for personality, but JD for looks. I have EBJD and a common O in a 75.

Only the males my friend. A female will never see more than 8" of growth, and 8" is more a rarity for females.

The EBJD is an amazing fish with great color. I have personally never had success raising them. ive bought at least 12 in the 1-3 inch range and each one dies. for sum reason they never eat.

i love how oscars eat everything. i also love their size. not just long but tall and thick. for me if i can have only one species for the rest of my life its oscars without hesitation.
