Hehe..salty...anyways, If I could mix a Jag with a JD I'd do it....other than that, I have a separate tank for a JD and a seperate tank for a Jag....both are some of my fav fishes....

That's a big JD!

That is a big JD, I've had several JDs before and non have gotten any bigger than 9" at best. The two Jags I've had, had gotten to be 12".

kid u not seen a 14 inch old man jd in a 200 gallon bar fish tank only fish in there and was so so big he looked like jabba but its a good pick either way

i have a 8" JD and two 5" Jags(in the process of removing one maybe) the dominant Jag will flare at the JD but no battles yet. between the 2 i would take a jag.....looks and acts much tougher .

thanks salty! you didn't knocked on jags, yer just voicing yer opinion by other peoples experiences, and thats very smart. here's a pic of my jD just to be fair with the JD lovers.

another nice one, actually my 4" jd looks very similar to that one. He's already producing a head hump, soon I will post some pics using my girls camera. I actually have some real good pics of my old jag on my digital. Nice in your face shots, and a couple full body shots. I'd love to post them. I just dont want anyone thinking I'm pro jd, there was actually a time when I was into jags only. Thats the whole purpose of this thread, I wanted to see everyones opinions and who was into what, around here. You've all been very helpful and I love the pics. Keep em comin.
