well thats still a big cost difference. i was talking more along the lines of a UGF to good HOB, like the aquaclears. not like a UGF to a monster Eheim filterhenria86;3306015;3306015 said:Why Use a Dvd, When We have Blue Ray ???

thankyou for your advice and for being nicejcardona1;3306028; said:yeah i dont see why not. you can later add more filtration if you like or need it
If you want to have a filter that takes a lot of maintanence, keep the UGF, if you want something that does bio filtration AND mechanical filtration all in one, get an aquaclear or canister filter, heck I say get a sump/wet dry filter. Keep the air pump and get an air stone and hook it up and bury it under the gravel. I like having sand in my tanks so I have no use for an UGF.jchown142;3306076; said:So I have been out today and bought a pump to support my UGF! the basic consensus is that I should give it up for another thpe of filter, so what do I do with the airpump I have just paid for??????? do i keep my UGF or do I use the pump for something else?
+1 we think quite alike lol.Iffrat;3306029; said:not everyone has money for other filters .. or maybe they just dont want to spend the money to over filter .. not everyone has to get the best of the best .. maybe they are not that into the hobby ..
and maybe everyone telling them they are a failure for not being just like them is not the best way to get people to stay here .. and there is always the availability to upgrade later .. so please chill out ... give her a chance .... teach .. not judge...
