Let's put it this way, it's probably impossible if you put Shaq in a Smart car (those tiny electric car). However, if you put Shaq, Yao, Bynum, Glen Davis, and Gasol in an Escalade, it looks crowded, but does it still work? Right or wrong is each individual opinion.
Maybe for a trip down to the local Food Bag for some Yoo Hoo and a bag of chips. However, when they are all in there, try welding the doors shut and check back in a month to see how it went...:screwy:

If you keep thinking about how much a fish, you wouldn't buy a fish, or that many fish
Pretty sure you missed the point of my post.
.

thats not right in my eyes i agree with everyone whos saying that all of the newbies who do this get flamed so much but guys like this spend god knows how much on fish and stuff them all into a tank thats obviously not the right size for that amount of those kind of fish all get good comments on it

Your nuts haha!!! This is called monster fish keeping!! MFK

Monster fish keeping is having an appropriate number of appropriate fish of an appropriate species in a big enough tank with aquascaping and good filtration, and doing everything to make your fish happy and healthy.

THIS is not monster fish keeping. This is the senseless use of living animals as status symbols with no regard for the happiness or health. I love overstocked tanks, but they have to contain only fish that can live their whole lives in the tank, it has to be aquascaped so the fish are comfortable, it needs to be filtered appropriately, and it needs to have more water than fish.

Don't think that's what you meant.

"We are a unique community of Fish Keepers who seriously take our hobby to extremes and the NEXT level. The majority of our fish collections include RARE & EXOTIC Species of all sizes, BIG FISH with BIG APPETITES and BIG TANKS. It's not easy for most people or other "regular" fish keepers to understand why we maintain this type of collection and spare no expense on this fascinating hobby."

Come on guys, if you don't agree and on;y feel inclined to judge, then move on.

While I prefer to keep my fish in a different fashion, all I need to do is look at the water clarity and the health of the fish to determine that this man knows what he's doing and any flaming only makes his position stronger. He is thinking outside the fish tank, so to speak. Doing things with his fish that not many others consider doing.

We're passing judgments based on what? Our preconceived notions of how fish should be kept? Who made up the rules?

Once again, look at the fish. Do you see torn fins? Do you see emaciated fish? Is your tank as clear as this one?

Did anyone even think to ask about his filtration and water change routine? Or what he feeds? Did anyone even think to ask why he does this?
