I must be on an endless path then. Could you please quote my flaming/insulting post? I have openly disagreed with the OP's fishkeeping decisions, however, calling my posts insulting or flaming is a bit extreme.

You're right on the cusp of flaming pretty much everyone on here who doesn't agree with you. You even put down the people who post in support of the OP by suggesting that the whole thread is biased if it only contains posts from people who like the particular topic.

You flamed me by suggesting I make ridiculous implications because instead of clearly disapproving of what he is doing, I tried to take a neutral stance. You didn't expect that I would be insulted by that statement? You didn't mean to elicit a certain response by making that statement?

I will leave it to you to deduce the answer to your question from what I have written. Should you care to continue this convo, feel free to pm me. :)

Damn JL is that hoe your conserving water nowadays? that tank probably only has 50 gallons of water.:ROFL: u must upgraded what size tank are they going into?

Is "JDM" a style or type of way to keep fish. Like in example overstock the heck out of your tank and see if fishes will be healthy and happy this way? I really don't know what it means? I do see where all the concerns are for overstocking but if all those fishes were cheap oscars and pacus, the owner would get flamed hard. But since it is a member who has lots of friends on this forum and who have top notch pricey fishes, he is worshiped. I don't know the whole story but if that is a holding tank and the owner is waiting for a much larger tank, than i praise the owner. But if that is the fishes real home then I feel the owner is considered a middle man and just waiting to sell off his fishes when the market gets hot and the money is right. Large massive tanks are damn sure more rare than any of these fishes will ever be. Maybe he doesn't have a big enough house to buy a large acrylic tank to not crowd his collection of rare fishes? Maybe he's waiting for his super large tank to be built? The world may never know...

this is just a holding tank for his fishes before he transfer them to a bigger tank.

If this is the case then enough said in my eyes.

To the OP, Water looks very crisp and clear. Very nice and beautiful fish you have there. I too am interested in the filtration. Aslo what size tank are these fish going in assuming Arowanaguy is correct?

They never admit their water change routine. It gets asked pretty much every time somebody makes a thread about their overstocked-with-expensive-fish tank. I suspect they have a secret chemical, perhaps low dosages of clove oil, with which they keep these fish sedated to keep them from going nuts and killing each other. But as for the water, I don't know how they get away with having those fish live more than a few weeks. Perhaps they have well water and do a heavy drip all day. But they won't tell you. It's a secret.
