Dude these guys don not eat raisons.

hah :grinno:
good luck, I had one of these when i was in boston all summer. Had him in a 20gallon, with a sponge filter rated for a 75gallon tank, had black sand in the tank. and gave him blood woorms, and frozen brine shrimp maybe 4 times a day. My dats picked on him and he died, They are so damn hard to keep. Wish I could get some down here in florida.

You get through this and you'll be one heck of a top notch aquarist. Good luck and keep up the hard work.

has he FOR SURE eaten since you have gotten him... you said he was spitting things out but to your knowledge is he doing all right.

i mean all this thread has done is given him info and hes given US no feed back on the aros status.

hes dong great, he is a lil fat, and eats alot.

dude im doing water changes every other day, and hes grown so much. when i got him he was about 3 and 3/4" long, now hes 4" long, and its only been like 2 days!!!

So you've only done one water change? And you can tell a 1/4" increase in size through the side of the tank? WOW!!! That is impressive.

Possibly why most have a high mortality rate?

Although I think rallys had one that didn't even make it through one night.
