You introduced him/her into a tank with fish known to have ick. That's just irrisponisble. When I fish is first introduced into a new home it's at it's most vonerable to disease. When I fish is stressed (and would be simply by the move and change in water chemistry) they're immune system becomes week. And now you have moved him/her again.... good luck saving her, make shure to add salt and boost temps right away.

i didnt know he had ich, i saw like 3- 4 spots of it on him, then i moved him. so how much salt do i add, and what should the temp be?

thanks

ok, i did what u said. but can any1 answer my question about water changes every day. i know water changes help the fish grow really fast, so should i do 1 every day or no?

Don't water change every day unless you're curing your water. The best thing you could do right now is go to the library, half price books, or wherever and sit down and read books on fish for a few days. Start with water chemistry, it's really pretty easy when you sit down and sort it out. Then move onto husbandry and whatnot. If you come back and ask questions after that, you'll get better answers. People burn out from a constant barrage of questions and will quit giving serious answers.

So educate yourself as much as you can, and then tie up the loose ends with the experts. Just trying to help.

what do u mean curing your water.

You sound like a very experienced keeper *sigh* First off large water changes every day are bad, they will mess with your water parameters way to much. Secondly why put a fish in a tank when you obviously knew there was Ich present? Seems to me like you have alot of learning today before you get any more fish.
