wow clean tank nice pickup

Nice deal. Now hurry up and set her up.

Man you did not say what you paid for it but you have a great looking set up.

Sorry alittle misunderstanding! I got the tank and stand and canopy and 75 gallon sump for 100 bucks cheaper then I was going to buy the new 180 gallon tank for! I ended up paying 600 bucks for everything and the new 180 gallon tank only was 700 from the store! I think I got a great deal.

Thanks for all the compliments guys. I started filling it lastnight but had a minor set back. I found two of the bulkheads were leaking very very slow. But a leak is a leak. So I quit filling her up and now Im working on sealing the bulkheads up. They seem to be a bit of a pain in the butt. I have more pics coming also!! Stay tuned for the entire setup. Im not a hundred percent sure on what I want to put in it for gravel and lighting and scape at all yet so ideas are more then welcome!!

That is a great looking setup and it sounds like a good price too! I look forward to seeing some pics with fish in it.

thanks for the compiments everyone!! I didnt mention but I also got a fx5 in the deal!!

Im going to have a black background also. Im not sure the direction I should go with the solor of the substrate. Any ideas?

You might be sorry with black background. I wanted black background and black sand in my 240 when I set it up thinking this would make my fish stand out. I had to settle for gray background and black sand. Now a year later, I'm changing to white sand. My fish have darkened considerably, and my lights don't light the thing up that well during the day. At night the tank looks great but the fish (Discus) are DARK! I could put in more lights, but lighter sand will be cheaper, and I won't have to worry about increased algae growth.
