I haven’t had a FH for years and wasn’t planning on jumping back into them. But I saw this guy at my LFS and had to grab him haven’t seen on this nice in 8-12 months. I used to see this type of quality more often years ago. Anyways I plan to keep him solo, as I don’t think he’ll tolerate a another FH. I’m now on the hunt for a SB FH of good quality. 3E1FF4F2-0BCD-4029-81EE-66DD87A8B1E8.jpegF98C2EA8-5E09-40F8-84CC-CE87749E3417.jpeg0E7DC1F3-CF83-4B27-B3E8-47CAD6D6EC5D.jpeg

Another half water change today so here’s a pic. He’s still for sale but I guess at the same time I kinda like growing him out for sure. I was also told by some he’s a Kafma and not a SRD ?‍♂️ I’m open to opinions.

Beautiful flowerhorn. I really like your sand. What brand/type/color is that? I want to get rid of my black sand eventually, and swap it with something lighter in color to help brighten up my flowerhorn.

I didn’t buy the sand myself I got it from another MFK member. I refer to it as Red/Orange. I can confirm my FH loves moving sand more than gravel. If I find out more info on the sand I’ll let you know.

Mix of Hikari:
Bio Gold+
Blood-Red Parrot +
Cichlid Staple
Goldfish Wheat Germ

But primarily the Bio Gold+ & Blood- Parrot Red+ Three times a day. Every now and then some mirror work for like 10-15 mins.
