I think scaping is great but we also have to keep in mind the fish. If we are talking about the big 3 upper jaws and lower jaws then less is more.
Big fish getting spooked = bigger injury.

Frog bit is bigger then duck weed and is not as prolific.Gotcha, I might have to wait to get anything shipped to me until it warms up a bit anyway. I have a couple of melon swords in with them and some valisneria floating. Frog bit stays a bit bigger than duckweed and doesn't multiply like crazy right? I was thinking about getting some of that too.
Most of the time you’ll see a nigerian lap mislabeled as palmas bichir, i bought 4 nigerian lap all mislabeled.I ordered that fish from my LFS as a Palmas LOL Uh oh!!
The knuckleheads kept the poor thing in the bag all day long, I assumed they would have put it in one of their tanks. So when I picked it up I just wanted to get it home and safe in the tank, never really even had time to look at it.
When I first got it the only other bichir in with it was my albino sen. The sen put it in it's place even though it's 1/3rd of the size lol
My tank really isn't big enough for LJ's though![]()
