Largemouth Tankmate

You guys are comparing mice to HUMANS. Thats not much different then comparing a cricket or fish to a mouse. Pinkies are still mice.

as far as crickets in research and being used to help humans...

(by the way katydids are crickets)

Whatever though. This post is not about telling Blok how cruel and wrong he is, or mice being equal to anything or soldiers in the middle east..... its about takemates and then the OP asked about the mouse.

and I do think its a good idea to feed the bass a great variety of natural foods it eats in the wild. which includes mice.............etc.

and by the way my bass is on a mostly pellet/feeder fish diet. and wanted to try some new stuff and share it with you. so if you want to watch it then watch it. if not dont bich about what i am doing wrong because you cant say youve never made mistake. 1

You know what else is a good idea? All the things I listed before. Natural lighting, natural habitat/decor, natural temp changes, natural water, ability to breed. Are you providing those to your bass? I bet not, so if all of those things aren't important why does a bass need to eat a mouse? A variety of foods is healthy, but mice aren't a healthy part of that diversity of foods. They are something a wild bass will take when presented with but there is a huge difference between "wild" and "captive" and the difference is enough to make a hard earned meal in the wild a fatty unhealthy one in captivity.

I don't typically make a mistake while knowing it's a mistake.;) Let alone doing it twice.

Umm...LMB, feeder fish, crickets, meal worms, mice...they are all animals. I think you meant mammals. And just to put my opinion in here. I don't think the video was even worth it. It was quite boring.:(

Chad

Actually Chad, mice are animals. Crickets and mealworms are INSECTS (or insect larvae) and Fish are...FISH.

Animals/Mammals = mice

Thanks

I'm not comparing mice to humans. Where did you get that?

Bright boy is the one comparing dropping a full grown mouse into a box of water to our soldiers fighting in the Middle East. haha

I'm glad you took the time to surf science daily to come up with an interesting article. Crickets and mice are worlds apart. Period.

We all have our opinions. That's why this is a forum. Let's be honest though...Borat or Blok one (Whatever) is doing this for his own enjoyment, not for the health of his fish.

Of course I have the choice to watch it or not. Your the kind of person who brings me back to reality when I start to think there is some good in all people.

Being a forum, opinions are part of the game. If you don't want to get flamed for doing something really stupid you should:

A) Not perform the senseless act in the first place.
B) Don't post it if you do.

I'm not telling you NOT to post since you may be easily confused. I am saying that IF you are going to post something as atrocious as that, you should be prepared to take the bad with the good.

Good luck with your LMB. I'm done with this topic. :)

I took biology in 10th grade, there we were taught about the Kingdoms of life. Last I knew insects, fish, mice, humans, clams, sponges, sparrows...they were all classified as animals. If you're going to try and debate something AT LEAST know what you're talking about.

If you're so sure of yourself please point out in what kingdom on this picture insects and fish belong?
