Leo wanted

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
this guy and others who post this kind of scam who is probably the same guy as i ask and wind them all up as soon as i spot a rat

they normally say money is not important its keeping the customers happy who they like to treat like there brothers and sisters
then comes the real funny bit he can also ship me a 300 gal tank from the Cameroon to the UK for $200 don't get me wrong but the shipping alone would be 10 x that :screwy:

then he will tell you some other crap about vets health checks :D

So im not going to buy from him them, were could i buy a pair of motoros from as leos would be to expensive?

lets just confirm tank size 1st as you did ask at the start but it got over looked

for a adult pair of Leos you would need a 8 x 4 ft tank

a pair of Leos cheapest price in the UK would be around the £800 mark you may get them cheaper from Holland or Germany and its not that bad a drive just jump on the euro tunnel at 6 am drive over to Holland get there around lunch time drive back home then the rays will be in your tank by 8 pm

if you want something bad enough that drive is nothing and its better than getting ripped off

for normal motoro you are still going to need a 8 x 4 ft tank and you may get away with a 7 x 3 ft tank for a real nice pair or marble motoro

if that tank size is to big for you go for a pair of hystrix as there are some cheap ones going about at the moment and you should be OK with a tank size of 72 x 30 inch

Think you need to do some research then before you buy ANY rays as puffers and rays don't mix you will have rays with no eye bits of the tail missing and chances missing out of them if you put a puffer with rays

I agree with T1

If you are unsure of what tank size you need to house rays and you are thinking of throwing a puffer in with them....you havent done enough research on these animals. The more reading about them you do before you make the purchase....the more money you will save in losses from uneccasary deaths.
Read,read,read

you'll always pay more for females than males..large adult females still fetch a good price as with all the black rays..recently wanted some more large adult females got 2 around 18inches had to pay £1800 each for those and a smaller female around 14inch had to pay £1050 for her.You will struggle to find anyone to part with them..i tried everywhere was just lucky a freind managed to find them for me...lone males are obviously there to be had alot cheeper..and of course pups are also alot cheeper as people have stated already.

Was it Giles who got the large females for you :D

If it was Giles he did try very hard for you to get my female for you but she was not for sale at any price

It's mainly because people wand 2 female to 1 male mean lots of males left over so they can be had at a cheaper price

If you have no intrest in breeding a male is a good choice as they stay a fair bit smaller so they can be kept in a slightly smaller

2 males will probably fight once they become mature so that's something else that should be taken into account

I had a MBU for 2 years before but it died only a few days ago, he was in a community tank with all sorts of small fish and he attacked nothing. Only some MBUs attack other fish.
