On June 22nd looking back,
I suffered a massive heart attack.
Four times I coded,
Heart nearly exploded.
Thank God that the med-tech's skills didn't lack!

Though a poet, I am not, it can be said,
However, i'll give it a go,
Though my incompetence will show,
I'm better sticking to fishkeeping instead!

5 Any less it's said,
6 I'd most certainly be dead,
10 And this thread would see the end of my lines.

Though I was needy,
Six sounds a bit greedy,

I’ve literally tried to make a limerick up forever
My grades reflect I am not that clever!
But I‘m trying my best
So please don’t protest
When I say that esox’s limerick is whatever!

Esox Lucius’s name and poems are absurd
This old pope
He’s trying to cope
With my rhymes and rhythms I concurred

But old Esox, without doubt, he's the best,
He writes them with flair,
Without as much as a care,
