lol this isnt live rock it is dead i dont support taking it but it isnt illegal... and u can own water property....... we own a house on the beach and our property goes 1/4 a mile out we own the property but we cant stop people from using it for recreation as long as they dont come on our beach soo we technically own the water and what happens at low tide?

Florida owns all the submerged lands of navigable waters, (including the ocean and the intra coastal), that are below the high tide line.

If it is dead there is no problem I think, it is only liverock that is protected. Low tide exposed rocks are protected though.

Sand is the same as rock. You can't take it if you are in the US.
