This Sunday was quite an eventful day for all the arowana that I had. I woke up to 2 big boxes arrive home.
Live foods
Baby albino silver arowana
So I shall start with having a look at the new fish.
Here's a small video, them being acclimatized and then after being released in their tank.
Today morning saw them eat some baby mealworms and some sun dried gammarus.
The next order of business was to move the 24k to the pond.
Catching him was pretty much without an event, reduced 4" of water, put a bag in the tank and didn't even have to herd him into the bag.
Floated the bag in the pond for some time, added some water from the pond into the bag a few times between 5-10 minute intervals. And then released it
Here's an underwater video of releasing the aro .
Next was adding something to the tank where the 24k xback was.
So moved the indo super red to a bigger tank. And here's a video of that .
And since this was a day with so many aris, had to do a pond feeding underwater video.
So after almost a month, here's an update.
