Longear Sunfish in 55 gallon

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Okay, my new plan is to get them saturday or sunday.

I have the filter running... though I think er should say hope it needs a new impeller.
I pretty much have to give the impeller a tap when I plug it in. Did not restart after power flicker.

I will transfer some media from my 100gallon as well as 15-20 gallons of water.

Looks like your tank is cycled and ready, I had Oscars and convicts before I got my Green Sunfish and was amazed by how similar the Greens were to the Oscars in temperment, they were alot of fun before they out grew my 39g.. How many gallons is your tank?

Sounds great....I hope all is going smoothly with your new fish!

Yup, got em this morning. They are still a bit scared. Already chasing each other a little bit though. Got them to eat some brine shrimp. I'll take some pics tomorrow.

Took the drift wood cave from my oscar tank, added a hollow log.
