A group of raccoons attacked your poor 4.5 ft gar and killed it?! Well I'm glad your gar was able to take at least one of them down with him! Take that raccoon!

lol ya i went out ther and hte gar was gone and there was a raccon that had his throat slit and bites all over him half way in hte pond and also the gar was only about 3 ft long

ok here i go evil:
the longnose gar can be found in the summer along the bank of the missouri river at some times in hte early morning.they can also b found in drainage areas of lakes.if les then 2 inches raise them up on mosquito larvae until big enough to eat feeder guppies.then once they get to be about 4 inches long switch to feeding them feeder goldfish and minnows.once they get to big for ur tank then DONT release them back into the wild. this is most of wat i know about raising longnose gars this is wat u wantecd rite?o and they r canoblistic
