I have one breeding pair in a 125. 3 others with them plus some left over fry. I have found they are one of the slowest growing cichlids especially for amphilophus. They also are pretty tame in my experience. Im curious on how sexing them turns out. When i started trying to figure out my group venting was difficult at that size for me.
I would just do a tank of lyonsi and nothing else. They are worth the slow growth for sure.
