Male or female?

Hi and Merry Christmas! I am curious about the gender of my flowerhorn. I tried looking its vent but I cant seem to identify it. The first part of the vent is a little round but it becomes pointed at the top and that makes me a little confused. Are there double gender fish? I dont know how I can look its vents by catching it with a net and then touching jt upside down. I did not do that because I dont want my fish to be stressed and to be out of the water so I just placed a food at the top of the aquarium and then I took pics while the fish is looking upwards. Please help me.

That’s an odd angle to vent from. Either straight on out of the water or a close up side shot are easier to work with.

But going off this(if I’m looking at it right) it looks too blunt to be a male. IMO. I’d say it’s a female. It’s just really throwing me off that the side picture you can’t see anything. Were the pictures taken the same day?

Sorry, I really dont know how to take the fish out of the water. The pictures were taken on the same day. I just measured the length of the fish, he is about 20cm or 8 inches. But the doesnt have a hump or kok so I'm really worried about its gender because the vendor said that it is a male but it isnt growing a hump on its head. Thank you btw for answering.
