I cannot guarantee either species in the particular drainage were looking at now, however it seems likely given their range and the type of habitat that we are looking at. If we decide to go there, which it seems that we are leaning that way, I might be able to find somebody that has sampled the drainage and could give us a good idea of what we might be in for. If you really need some gar and bowfin, I can put you on those fish, come summertime we can get the gar in the pocomoke on the easter shore, and the bowfin in hampton roads. I would really like both species as well, so maybe we could set up a different trip, or we could go there first.
