MD/VA area collecting

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I cannot guarantee either species in the particular drainage were looking at now, however it seems likely given their range and the type of habitat that we are looking at. If we decide to go there, which it seems that we are leaning that way, I might be able to find somebody that has sampled the drainage and could give us a good idea of what we might be in for. If you really need some gar and bowfin, I can put you on those fish, come summertime we can get the gar in the pocomoke on the easter shore, and the bowfin in hampton roads. I would really like both species as well, so maybe we could set up a different trip, or we could go there first.

heck yeah!!

I'm actually gonna go today and check out a couple of the feedr creeks into the pocomke. If I find any Gar, I'll let you know.

ok! sounds good. i got nothing good here or i would offer. mainly sculpin, darters(tessleated) trout. few others but nothing too interesting. i do know a stream in a quite public park that has a few monster crays, but its very public and the pool that they are in is deep. they hide in the banks as well as the dead center of the pool. i have personally caught a cray about 5" in that pool but there are some much much bigger.

let me know what u find :)

I am deffinitly in. Im sure one of my best friends would love to come too. Let me know what you find today. I would love to get some darters.
