Here in Southern Ontario Canada, I belong to the Kitchener-Waterloo Aquarium Society www.kwas.ca ( our website and forum are in the process of being moved, we have overwhelmed our current service provider with our high traffic )
There are about 70 or so members of the club, about 40 show up for the monthly meetings.
There are 4 other Tropical Fish clubs within an hour's drive, so lots of club auctions in the area :)

Why do you think that more folks from this site don't get involved? Seems like a no brainer to me!

I am a part of tbas (tampa bay aquarium society) but I don't go to the meetings anymore (as in over a year now). I did for a while. I *might* go on Monday. The people are great and I used to live closer. I now live a lot further and also work where the meetings are held and its my day off so I am not fond of making the drive out to my work for the meetings now or using the gas.
 
Weekday meetings would make it tough for me to attend. Ours (CCA's) or on Saturdays (generally the 2nd Sat of the month), so I'm usually able to go.

Anyone else?
