Brady and the Pats are the most overrated football team in the history of the NFL.

Packers should have beaten them.

Basically 2x spotted touchdowns on very lucky returns.

+4 dropped interceptions.

Oh, did someone mention we are missing our starting QB, RB, TE, and 10 defensive players on the IR. This doesnt count the guys that are just injured.

You guys can barely beat our 2-3rd string defense after receiving most of your points off of lucky breaks and the 4 dropped interceptions.

Tom Brady is a good QB. But he isnt a goat, or an MVP. I woudnt draft him top five even if I had to pick today.

:ROFL:most overrated....no way ne is the most overrated the record and the great teams they have defeated says it all...the ny jets and philly are the most overrated.....most teams wish they could have a brady type of player on there team... ne just got lucky when bledso got hurt...and did any one mention that some of ne biggest contributors are rookies on offense and defense...

What year that Brady took Patriots undefeated? The closest one he got was 18-1!

mvp is based on regular season success, not post season

I'll bite... who should get the MVP of the year then? Cassel? I didn't even know of him until a few months ago.

Jumping on the Brady Bandwagon is the only illogical thing here.

Brady throws the ball like a 8th grade girls softball player. Off the bench.
He isnt spectacular at all, he just puts up good numbers. Everyone loves his QB rating. Curtis Martin has a perfect QB rating, no one is talking about him?

Brady has great stats, he is a part of a great football program. Cassel was plugged into that equation, and had a good season after never starting ever before.

Im not impressed by Brady at all. Im a realist, and Im grounded. I know guys in highschool that can throw harder and farther than he does. He is surrounded by playmakers.

An MVP is someone who does things that no one else in the league can. Im not saying Vick is it, but he certainly has that edge over Brady.

You are crazy. Ya i know linebackers better than Ray Lewis aswell.:ROFL::ROFL:

This kid is crazy. :screwy:

I wasn't talking about mvp... I was talking about undefeated, but I understand your point :D

didn't read the whole thread but as an eagles fan, but informed football lover my thoughts are as follows-

Vick has had a tremendous comeback year, he showed he was human in the light of his condement for his actions, and almost an unhuman ability on the football field.

i was skeptical as anyone at first, but he renounced the ways he has always know- dogfighting is part of the culture he is from, and even if he talked more about what he has lost- he still showed remorse for his previous actions.

that being said- he is the single greatest football threat currently as a playmaker. no other QB in the history of the league could ever run like him. he has also now gone to pass first mode (checks whole field) instead of using his own talent as a runner, and developed what i always thought he lacked- a truly great passing arm. he has taken a team with a terrible offensive line, and kept them in contention because he can roll away from rushers, if given enough time (barring viking loss).

what he has not done is what brady has done, brady has taken nobody receivers this and in past seasons, and made them fantastic because of how good he is. vick has 2 outstanding WR a good pass catching RB and an impressive TE.

Vick now will miss his 5th game this season next week when we play dallas in order to rehab and get ready for green bay as we are now locked as a 3 seed. and that has all but taken him out of contention for MVP, Tom Brady is this years Most Valuable player for taking what he is given every year, and making the patriots win, without him the patriots are a 4-12, 5-11 team at best.

As much as I don't like brady... I still think he is the mvp

It is obvious that many of the posters on this thread really have limited knowledge of football and the NFL. They're allowing their emotions to dictate their opinions of who is the better QB. Brady and Vick are both good for the NFL. That's why the commissioner allowed Vick back into the league. When they (Brady and Vick) play, viewers tune in.

A good player needs to be more that a silverback that throws a ball. They need to be someone who's charismatic and a role model, and I'm going to sound almost bigoted here to Vick fans, but I won't accept dogfighting "in your culture" any more than I'm going to tolerate a priest being absolved from molesting children because he's a priest. As a dolphins fan, I have no special feelings one way or another about the Eagles, I'm certain they're a fine team, but Vick is a miserable excuse for a person who needs to be put down.

As for Brady, he lost the limelight when he hurt his leg (? don't know him that well) but shows a ton of potential, and is new to the league, while Vick has had his share of time in the NFL.
