if it's the system in new england, how come matt cassel who just lead the chiefs to the playoffs wasn't able to step right into the system and lead them to the playoffs? he had an entire year to do it and failed.

i'm a huge micheal vick fan but i give credit where it's due, Brady with his sparkly 13 and 2 record is this year's mvp. The ability to run a football does not equate to mvp status. some of you are probably even too young to realize that vick isn't a one in a lifetime player. There were just a few recently. kordell stewart? Randall Cunningham? What do these great runners have in common? ZERO championships.

you can give vick the most improved player award, but not mvp when brady is having the year he's had. 319 passes with no interceptions( all time record btw, NO ONE HAS DONE IT, many QBs have run for their life)? sorry for the stupid remark!! I agree Brady should be MVP this year but for you to say Cassel was junk that year is non sense. Go read up about that season and read what Cassel did.

i don't think cassel was junk that year. i just don't underestimate brady's value. the year before in that system he threw 50 TDs and went undefeated. the next year another QB steps in and doesn't put up half the numbers he did and didn't make the playoffs.

i don't need to read up on cassel's history, i lived it.
