I'll try to snowshoe or ride a horse (depending on how slick it is) up to the spring and take a pic for everyone, that will show the incredible view up high looking at the entire Cascade Range from the upper 1/2 of the ranch.
Thanks Jeff....
GREAT Betty pic, she's so darn cute. Do you watch the "dock dogs" competitions on TV? I say a Betty on TV about 4 days ago, and a monkey in tiny chaps was riding the dog while it was cutting livestock in an arena, the monkey stayed on, incredible, I wish you could have seen it!
I think she was snarling because she was out of her comfort zone, so she was trying to look ferocious because she was scared. She probably smelled dinner and was mad because I took the deer meat off of the outside table (hah, don't need a freezer this time of year, just stick it outside!)
I haven't seen her in 2 days, now the Bobcat is lurking in a snow cave that slid off of the roof, but the snow is up eaves of the roof, so it curls over and leaves a tunnel. Yesterday I discovered this when following Bobcat tracks into the tunnel, but they didn't come out, I then realized he was hiding from me in there! So I left him alone.
The Cougar and Bobcat both love catnip. I grow it then dry it, if I put a handful out, it's always gone the next morning!
