You guys nailed it...Bones Jones submitted Machida.

well, we predicted ko/tko. but the sub was a result of a knock down from a strike so,.......

it was a good fight up until jones knocked machida down. it was actually competative and not one sided. first time anyone clocked jones like that.

"I will die in the cage, but I will never tap." - Machida

he stayed true to his word

anyways, the whole card was sick! Korean Zombie? that was insane. Hominick has been knocked down before and was able to recover, i was surprized that he finished him. Awesome win, i need to get me a kz shirt. Mir/Nog was insane. i thought nog was going to put mir to sleep, and he almost did. props to mir, poor nog, that may have been a career ending break. great night of fights

Yep,you sure did....Ortiz is said to have one fight left on his contract and I wonder if Dana let's him fight again or lets him go....

well, the fight was going exactly how i'd pictured it would go. machida just being elusive, back pedaling and using his footwork to move side to side, take his time and pick his shots. i personally gave machida first round. jones was winning until around the middle of the round when machida landed the punch. it was the most significant punch of the round but i read 2 judges gave jones the first which i'm ok with because it was close. it took a little bit for jones to settle. you can clearly see him figuring out the puzzle in front of him but i felt jones would impose his will and showcase why he's the champ. jones is a bad bad man. this guy had an amazing run in 2011. fighter of the year, no doubt, hands down. he's beaten 4 top ten fighters and 3 of them former champs. i don't see anyone beating him and i'd really like to see him clean the division and move to heavyweight.

about tito, if it was anyone else, i'm sure dana would let him go. but since it's tito, i believe dana will let him fight and finish his contract.

tito has a lot of haters, but the hardcore fans and dana knows what tito has done for the ufc. tito played a major role in keeping the ufc afloat in the dark days. the ken shamrock fued made lots of money and help put ufc out there. which is why forrest and bonnar would never get cut even when on a losing streak. guys that helped in the way they did will get to stick around

i would be really surprized if tito was released.

Good points.I have always been a Tito fan but it seems like he's losing most of his fights lately, like he's washed up.I'd hate to see him get beaten up and knocked out in his last big fight.

tito is among many that should hang em up. wand, big nog, crocop,......... these guys' chins and bodies just don't have it anymore. it takes less to put these guys down now a days. i think gomi, rich franklin and fedor still have some fight left in them, but they aren't going to make a serious run for any major titles ever again.

but tito, wand, big nog and crocop, they have no more business being in the ring/cage anymore. they can still crush some cans and get some lucky wins here and there, but the wins are fewer and the beatdowns they receive are more often

Down and out goes Brock Lesnar.

Do you think he will stay retired?
