man, what the hell? can't believe King Mo and Lashley lost

excited to watch Sengoku 14 here soon :D
Yeah,Mo looked to be on his way to at least a decision win untill he got caught early in the round.Lashley on the other hand looked to bigger than I remember him being back in his pro wrestling days.He did'nt show much skill, looked to be scared to stand and punch,it was as if his sole gameplan was to grab, slam and ground and pound...He might want to consider going back to his previous profession.

I haven't seen the Lashley fight, but it sounds like something was wrong/different. He didn't seem the way you describe when I saw him fight before. I mean, obviously he's better on the ground than standing, but...

Well, this was my first time seeing him fight but he just did'nt show me much.He might have been injured or something else could have been going on,from the opening bell he looked very tentative. When you get to see the fight maybe you will see something else that you can point out.

I was reading on Sherdog about Griggs saying that when he hit him, he could tell that Bobby had never really been hit before. Looks like he needs to spend a lot more time at AKA.

Bobby needs to work on his cardio. That's what lost this fight for him. He was doing everything right to win but he got tired, and you can see him breathing hard. He has been doing a lot of talking about fighting Fedor and fighting for a title but after this fight, it's clear he has a long way to go.

KJ Noons is legit. I have no idea why Jorge thinks he can slug it out with the best. I felt like it was just a matter of time. That punch after the bell was ok. I read in other forums about people calling him dirty for that punch but there's no way that was dirty. It was a counter to a flurry that Jorge threw and it was right at the bell but KJ was in motion already. What upsets me is that the judge didnt' even ask if Jorge can continue and his corner should've stopped it. It was clear to me that he was hurt bad. He struggled to stand, struggled to walk to his corner and he didnt' know what happened. His corner and the doctor should've stopped it. It would've been a NC. And that illegal knee KJ threw was just that, illegal. I say it should've been a NC for punch after the bell, or DQ loss for KJ for the knee. Either way, KJ is a contender, they may setup KJ vs Gilbert next. btw, a lot of people are giving this ref crap, and blaming him for the illegal knee, but that's bs, wether or not the ref stops the fight don't mean you can throw an illegal blow. I'm surprized nobody addressed the knee after the fight at all except for the commentators.

I'm happy for Jacare. He won that. Did more damage standing and took little damage throughout the fight. was able to get back up the 2-3 times he was taken down. Tim Kennedy thought he won but i didn't like what he said after. He should've been a little more classy in defeat. He said he didn't like judges and this is what happens when you leave it in their hands. Dude, you lost the fight, look in the mirror,.............

the main event was a good one too. Kind of glad King Mo lost, I think it will be good for him. He was humble and respectful in defeat. I saw him pulling away with the fight up until the knees that he took from Fejiao. Seemed to me like Fejiao was getting a little tired. but good for him for connecting and doing a great job capitolizing.

Just read that this event didn't even have drug testing. not only that, KJ and King Mo were shown taking oxygen shots from a can which is illegal in a lot of sports including mma.

Taking oxygen shots can give a fighter that extra wind they need to throw a flurry or go for a strong takedown giving them an unfair advantage.

don't know what's gonna happen but something is gonna go down,.............

Bbby Lashley sure looked as if he took some kind of shots, he was huge.....What if these events are held on the native American owned gaming casino grounds, would they still have to abide by the established rules of the sports commissions?

Cardio is one thing, but he also has no stand-up skills what-so-ever.

I'm happy for Jacare too, although it would be nice to see a BJJ expert like him, get some high profile sub wins, to maybe bring back some of the excitment to the ground game (overall).

Yeah, you could almost immediately notice that he does not know how to throw a punch. He would be a beast if he knew how to fight.

good question, I dont' know the answer for sure tho,........... I think any mma event taking place on US soil has to be sanctioned by an athletic commision and abide by it's rules. same with boxing and kickboxing and things like that

Lashley is huge, doesn't have pecs, dude has breasasis.

I gotta rewatch the show again, but I think KJ only took the O2 shots before the fight. King Mo took it before also but he might have done it in between rounds.

I've read that the O2 cans were on the banned list but they were taken off that list this year. But the thing is, there are only a few items you can take with you as a cornerman. The O2 cans are not one of those items allowed.

Scott Coker, sf owner or whatever he is, said they are aware and he will look into it. he didn't comment since he didnt' have all the facts.

and about kj, he said the knee was meant for the body. some say it missed jorge's head but i'll rewatch it
