I don't know man, I think he's off the juice and it showed. he just never pulled the trigger. the way I see it he was more tired than he appeared. sure his hands were down a lot but early on he was bobbing and weaving from punches. it was a beautiful finish. I think he was exposed in the werdum fight and I think a lot of fighters in the ufc will knock him out if he doesn't finish them early. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets cut after a couple more losses since I read he's making like 300k to show up and getting ppv percentage
 
Edgar clearly out pointed the champ but to win a belt I believe you have to knock them out, submit or win without a doubt. AND DON'T LEAVE IT IN THE JUDGES HANDS!

Rashad is a pussy! All he did was play patty cake for three rounds. You can clearly see he just fought for a paycheck.
The only good fights are the prelims because these guys lay it all on the line. Most of the other guys fight for a paycheck and I hate to say it but UFC is starting look more and more like boxing events.
I think I will save my money and just watch the prelims from now on. Way more exciting than all the other clowns

might wanna edit that post. but rashad had major brain fart last night. no idea what he was thinking

I don't think edgar won. I think a lot of people listen to Joe Rogan's bias commentating. he was horrible last night. he praised edgar every time he blinked and never mentioned anything when aldo connected. I gave edgar only round 4. I can see round 3 and 5 being close but don't think he did enough to win those rounds. 1 and 2 was all jose.

I gave Edgar 4 and 5. It makes me sick to hear people say Edgar won against Aldo. Or Edgar won against Henderson. Edgar lost. Maybe he will drop another weight class and call out Cruz? Or why not just let him fight ronda?
 
I watched the 3rd round of the overeem fight over and over. The beginning of the end was the very beginning of the round when they came out and collided like a couple of rams on a hill. After that overeem was dazed and on the defensive, silva smelled blood and went nuts. Game over for overeem. He didn't keep his hands up the first 2 rounds but he juked all the punches like Anderson silva would

Joe definitely is bias at times. Sometimes I just take his word for it after a few drinks haha. I haven't watched it again, but I remember thinking it could go either way. Aldo's jab was working great and did a lot of damage.
Almost forgot about Woodley's awesome KO. That was vicious.
The female ref is the worst. I'm not sure why they let women ref the mens' fights. She couldn't hold back Big Foot.
 
IMO, there's no way Silva would have knocked out Overeem if he would have fought like he usually does. I've never seen him not protect himself like that. He didn't look gassed to me, but you might be onto something about him not being more aggressive, although I'm not sure it's because of PED's or lack thereof. Anxious to see what he does in his next fight, but this definitely sets him back. Not sure I want him to fight JDS yet after that poor performance. Maybe Pat Barry so he gets to fight a good striker, but that's too big of a step down, I think. Ugh, I just wish he would have at least kept his hands up and his head down. Maybe he was trying to have a better takedown defense, but that was still stupid. You'd think he'd be smarter without the PED's, lol.
 
dude, based on this performance and his last one against werdum, I think even barry will knock him out. I'd say even brown, hunt and big ben can do what bigfoot did. they just needs to survive first and most of second round onslaught and then put the pressure on and overeem will crumble.

I hate to say that since i'm a fan and been following him since he was the demolition man way back when

part of it may also be that he's been so dominant the last few years I think it got to his head. he probably felt unstoppable going into that fight. which you should but I think some humble pie can do him some good.

but barry would be a good match up to get his confidence back. he'd be the favorite to win of course but man, he better damn well be prepared because if he isn't, someone like barry will have him staring at the ceiling
 
It's hard to judge off of the Werdum fight because I heard that Werdum cracked Reem's rib in the first, and that pretty much slowed down the fight.
I still think he'd beat Big Foot in a rematch.
JDS and Reem are both going to come back fired up with something to prove and I think it's a good time to put that fight together. Only down side is, who ever gets 2 losses in a row is moving way to the back of the line.
