First two pics are my Rio Cabuya Siquia - I miss this guy. He was killed by the guy in the last pic (a hybrid from his sister and a HRP). I had him in a 300 w/ tons of cover, but I guess neither one would back down while I was on a vacation - a sad day....

That siquia is one of the nicest convict-type specimens I have ever seen! Real shame about him

Tell me about it. You can get them from Rapps if you want them. He turned me on b/c I love Midas - said they were basically mini midas - but I loved the colors as well

I love them, but don't have the setup for them right now. I actually tried keeping a rio claro siquia in my 5' ca community, and he turned out to be the most aggressive convict I have ever had! I re-homed him because he was beating everything up

This is why I haven't bought any for my community. I've heard too many stories of hyper aggression that makes a dovii sound like a guppy lol. Gorgeous fish though, maybe if I can keep them solo one day. For now I'll stick w/ HRP and sajica for community tanks.
